Office visits are scheduled by appointment only. If you have an emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room. To avoid scheduling conflicts, please call as far in advance to make an appointment.

New patients should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time for registration purposes. Patients should bring their insurance cards and state issued photo ID to each appointment. Also, if you are going to be unable to keep your appointment, please call as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

INSURANCE

Western Kentucky Heart and Lung Associates accepts most insurance plans.  Some insurers may require a referral to be seen by a specialist. The patient is responsible for determining if a referral is required.

If you have a question concerning a statement you have received, please feel free to contact our Billing Department by calling (270) 782-0151 then selecting option 3.

 

TELEPHONE

If you call to speak with medical personnel, physicians or a medical assistant, call (270) 782-0151 then select 

option 1; however, please understand they may be unable to answer your call at the time it is received.  Please leave a message with your name, telephone number and a brief message, your call will be returned by the end of the business day. 

 

PRESCRIPTIONS

For prescription refills, please contact your pharmacist during regular office hours.  The pharmacist will contact our office for authorization of your refill.  Requests should be made prior to needing the medicine.  This will give our office and the pharmacy time to work together to refill the prescription and ensure you do not run out of your medication(s).
